Account & Data Deletion Request
Last updated: August 18, 2026
To request the permanent deletion of your Ultimately account and all associated personal data, you have two options:
How to request deletion
- Go to the Settings page in the app, tap Account, confirm whether you want your account and associated data deleted or only your data be deleted while preserving your account, and then tap Submit.
- Send an email to support@astorik.com from the email address registered with your account.
What gets deleted
Requesting account deletion, through either method above, permanently removes:
- Your account and login identity (email, authentication record)
- Your profile information and app preferences/settings
- Your server-stored expense data — expenses, categories, and payment sources backed up via Cloud Sync
- Any device identifiers linked to your account
Expense data that only ever lived on your device — because you never signed in, or it hadn't synced yet — isn't touched by an account-deletion request. Uninstalling the app removes that.
What's temporarily retained, and why
A few narrow categories of data aren't deleted immediately:
- Purchase and subscription records held by Apple, Google, and our subscription-management provider, RevenueCat, under their own financial and tax recordkeeping policies — outside our control.
- Anonymous usage counters no longer linked to your account, which age out automatically within 3 months, per our Privacy Policy.
- Any data we're legally required to keep for a limited period (e.g., fraud prevention or accounting), deleted once that period ends.
How long it takes
Requests submitted through the in-app flow are processed immediately. Requests sent by email are handled manually — we'll confirm by reply once your account and data have been deleted, typically within 30 days.
